Making a Gift Online

To make your gift online, you can either select from the funds listed below, use the Search feature at the bottom of the page to find a fund, or click on "show all funds list" to view an expanded list of public funds. Once you complete your gift, you will receive an email notification of the donation and a second email with your tax receipt attached.

Community Scholarship Endowment Created by Cumberland Community Foundation to support college scholarships based on financial need, community service, and academic excellence.
Frank R. Lopes, Sr. Memorial Scholarship This fund is created in loving memory of Frank R. Lopes, Sr. by his family.
Funds that support special projects
CCS Fund for Student Emergency Needs This fund was created to support the emergency needs of students of Cumberland County Schools, including but not limited to tools necessary to learn at home (Chromebooks, internet access, mobile hot spots in neighborhoods), emergency assistance for food and clothing, and other support for students in need.
Rapid Response Grants Fund This fund was created to provide general support to the operations and missions of our leading nonprofit organizations.

Better Health of Cumberland County Endowment Fund An Organizational Endowment Fund established for the benefit of the operations and programs of the Better Health of Cumberland County
Bo and Herbert Thorp Endowment for Cape Fear Regional Theatre An Organizational Endowment Fund established for the benefit of the operations and programs of the Cape Fear Regional Theatre in honor of its founders, Bo and Herbert Thorp.
Library Endowment Fund--Cumberland County, North Carolina An organizational endowment created by the Friends of Cumberland County Public Library, Inc. for the benefit of the public library system in Cumberland County.

Connor Elizabeth Maxwell and Cameron Averitt Maxwell Memorial Endowment This designated fund was created in loving memory of Connor Elizabeth Maxwell and Cameron Averitt Maxwell to support youth and athletic programs at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church, as follows: In memory of Connor to sponsor an active member of the youth program in a mission or outreach program, and, if additional funding is available, to support other church programs in which Connor participated; AND In memory of Cameron to support the Christian athletic programs, and, if additional funding is available, to support other church programs in which Cameron participated.

Funds that support areas of charitable interests
Brownie Dickson Schaefer and Patricia Huske Schaefer Memorial Fund for Youth This fund was created in loving memory of Brownie Dickson Schaefer and Patricia Huske Schaefer by their devoted family and many friends to support charitable projects that will help young people become better adults. Grants are available for programs for teenage youth and character building organizations such as, but not restricted to, The Boy Scouts, religious youth groups, youth programs of the Kiwanis Club of Fayetteville, and similar programs.
Summertime Kids Endowment Fund An endowment fund that will provide funds for initatives in Cumberland County that target summer programs for the children and youth of our area.
Summertime Kids Annual Fund Every summer since 1992, the Summertime Kids program has helped more than 1,000 youth have life-changing summer experiences. The effects of COVID-19 are far reaching. Now, more than ever, children and youth need quality programming during the summer. These programs will adapt to changing circumstances.
